Technically, our story begins 4 years ago...

We first met a few weeks into our freshman year at Mississippi State University.

We both joined an engineering car club, Baja SAE. We were now teammates with many late nights working on campus, and over the years we became friends on this team.

However, one night spring semester of 2024, after a team call, we each stayed on. We spent the whole night chatting and doing homework.

From there something sparked, many late-night talks followed as Emily was in Starkville, MS and Brayden was on Co-op in Huntsville, AL. We got to really know each other as closer friends.

The summer of 2024 we talked everyday... and we mean everyday. Without realizing it, we had become each other's best friend (they always say you should marry your best friend).

On Sept 6, 2024 we had our first date and Brayden asked Emily to be his girlfriend, officially.

Shortly after that date, we both knew how we felt about each other. By Brayden's account he knew 2 days before our first date that he wanted to marry Emily.After months of dating and Brayden scheming, we got engaged on Jan 11, 2026.

The rest is history...

God has brought us together in a such a special way. We look forward to everyone coming to our wedding and witnessing our love and commitment to each other.
